The ideal candidate will have experience in behavior management as well as a passion for helping others.
Duties:
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming - Manage challenging behaviors in a calm and professional manner - Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for residents - Ensure clients rights are respected and upheld - Lift and transfer clients as needed - Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning and laundry - Drive clients to appointments and activities Skills:
- Excellent communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong attention to detail - Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) - Experience in childcare or senior care preferred - Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation - Experience in home care or direct support preferred
